Dr. Mark Sanders is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and heads the Sanders Clinic for Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine in Houston Texas. Dr. Sanders is a member of the medical staff at the Cypress Fairbanks Hospital Medical Center, the ROC Surgical Center and is Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Surgical Specialty Hospital of America’s Southeast Houston Campus.

During his 28 year career in Orthopaedics, he has performed thousands of arthroscopic surgeries on severe shoulder, knee, and ACL injuries. Dr. Sanders began advancing the development of the accelerated ACL reconstruction rehabilitation protocol as early as 1987. His extensive knowledge of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries has enabled him to not only help patients return to their previous level of athletic activity both with and without surgery, but also address serious complications resulting from unsuccessful surgeries performed before his treatment.
