Sanders Clinic Team Takes a Trophy at Dealers Challenge

Nearly 500 Entries Vie for Position in the 2005 Parts Unlimited US Dealers Challenge

Sanders Clinic Team #2 was just one point shy of placing third to take a celebrated fourth place position out of 33 non-franchised teams, at the recent 2005 Parts Unlimited US Dealer's Challenge.

With nearly 500 entries, the event was hosted by Three Palms Extreme Motor Sports Park in Conroe October 22 - 23 - drawing a large crowd and featuring a number of sponsor booths, fans and fellow racers alike.



As a motocross rider and physician, Dr. Sanders remains dedicated to motocross - helping young riders fulfill their love of the sport and stay strong while doing it.

"These guys are going to ride. It's a great sport. As a rider myself and as a doctor, I know what areas are vulnerable and what things are and aren't beneficial in both preventing as well as treating an injury," said Sanders, who sponsored two of the teams racing in the event.

Top world-class rider Jeff Dement was also at the event and sharing a common passion of the sport and understanding of the serious injuries that can result recently partnered with the Sanders Clinic.

Dealer's Challenge Rider Spotlight

Elizabeth Bash from Riverside, CA, rode for Sanders Clinic and Kawasaki Team Green, dominating the Women's Pro Class with two first-place moto wins.

Aaron Vick of Kingwood, TX, won the 51cc Stick Shaft Drive-oil Injected Class with two first-place moto wins.

Kyle Wood of Tomball, TX, rode the 85cc Junior 7-11 Class and finished fifth in the first moto and twelfth in the second moto, for an overall seventh-place finish despite engine malfunction early on and no clutch.

Macy Kimbrell of Missouri City, TX, rode in the Women's Open Class and finished with a sixth-place first moto position and a third-place second moto position, for an overall ranking of fifth.

Andy Kimbrell of Missouri City, TX, rode in the over 40 Amateur Class and finished fourth-place in the first moto and seventh in the second moto for an overall ranking of sixth.
