I was driving a car 11 days after surgery! I finally didn't have any more pain and I still don't have any pain.
I was just carrying around too much weight for too many years - living with the daily pain from even walking a few feet
or up stairs - when I went to Dr. Sanders. My knees were just worn out from the excess weight and practically bone to bone.
And I remember my family practitioner coming around to see me after the operation and I was crying. He thought I was
in pain, but I was crying because I was so happy I had my new knee! I was driving a car 11 days after the surgery! I
had a machine that moved my knee constantly after surgery, and I was determined to get through the recovery as soon as
possible. I finally didn't have any more pain, and I still don't have any pain.
That was nearly 20 years ago now and I am still perfectly satisfied. Although I have asbestosis and have difficulty
breathing today, I still do my knee to chest exercises every morning before I get out of bed.

if other treatments don't get it done. It is important to get all the information you can and find someone who is
knowledgeable about the latest procedures...and someone you have faith in. Like I did.
